Wietse Kuis

In the 70’s, Wietse took drawing lessons in Amsterdam (studio of Aart Lamberts).

After his retirement he started a career as a painter. He published a book in which his drawings and sketches are shown.

This resulted in an exposition of his work which was presented in 2010 in the Utrecht’s ‘Central Museum’ gallery. In 2012, Wietse exhibited a new series of paintings in the ‘Santa Domenico’ church in Narni, Italy.

Currently he has an atelier in Amsterdam and Narni where he continues working as an artist.
